I was approached to create a main title, animated lower thirds, and promotional materials for this passion project.

First Voice Generation is an award-winning documentary that follows the stories of three Latinx high school students in Holland, Michigan, during the height of the pandemic. Growing up as children of Mexican immigrants in a Dutch community, they struggled with a sense of identity and belonging, and the hope of becoming the first in their family to graduate from college.

First Voice Generation debuted at the Central Michigan International Film Festival in February 2023 and has since won multiple awards, including Best Director for Cynthia Martinez at the Mexican American Television and Film Festival in Los Angeles.
